As reported by Ghanaweb, Prophet Stephen Adom Kyei Duah, the founder of the Believers Worship Center, has called for peace and unity as Ghana prepares for the crucial 2024 elections.
During a church service, he emphasized the importance of safety and divine guidance in the upcoming electoral process.
With political tensions rising and concerns about possible violence, Prophet Duah reminded his congregation to stay safe.
He advised, “No one should attempt to do anything that might endanger their life during the upcoming elections.”
Prophet Duah assured his followers that he envisions a peaceful election.
“This election will not bring any ‘war’ in the country,” he stated confidently.
He believes that prayer is essential to ensure that peace prevails during the elections. “We must pray so that what I saw will come to pass,” he urged.
In a surprising move, the prophet expressed support for both major political parties: the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).
He said, “If the NDC wins, I will be happy, and if the NPP wins, I will also be happy.” This impartial stance encourages voters to focus on selecting leaders who genuinely care about the nation’s welfare rather than dividing along party lines.
The prophet’s message aligns with a widespread desire among Ghanaians for an election that is free from violence and chaos.
His emphasis on unity aims to promote a collaborative spirit among voters, reminding them that the ultimate goal should be the common good of all citizens.
Prophet Duah’s calls for prayer and peaceful conduct are more important than ever.
