Parts of Labone Honeysuckle destroyed by fire

A fire broke out at The Honeysuckle Pub and Restaurant in Labone, Accra, on Saturday, October 26, around 5 p.m., affecting parts of the popular establishment.

Swift response from the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) prevented extensive damage, containing the flames to the restaurant’s kitchen.

Officers from GNFS arrived promptly and worked to bring the fire under control, effectively limiting its spread.

Officials from the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) were also present, disconnecting power to prevent potential reignition and ensure the safety of responders.

Assistant Division Officer Alex King Nartey later provided an update on the incident through a post on the Fire Service’s official Facebook page, acknowledging the coordinated effort between GNFS and ECG in securing the premises.
