Former Kotoko coach Gazale forewarns his master [Ogum] for three points ahead of Sunday’s crucial clash in Ayinase

Basake Holy Stars head coach, Abdulai Gazale, has emphasized the importance of avoiding back-to-back defeats as his side prepares to face Asante Kotoko in their upcoming Ghana Premier League match.

The league newcomers will host the Porcupine Warriors at the Crosby Awuah Memorial Park on Sunday for Matchday 8.

After suffering a 2-0 loss to Nsoatreman FC in their last outing, Gazale is determined to see his team bounce back. “We are taking it one game at a time. Our focus now is on preparing for Asante Kotoko. We cannot afford to lose two consecutive games in the league,” Gazale stated.

He added, “We’ll correct our mistakes and be ready for Kotoko. Every game against Kotoko is tough because they always aim to be at the top, and other clubs want to prove themselves against them.

We’ll work hard throughout the week to get back to winning ways. ”Basake Holy Stars have struggled to maintain consistency since their victory over Hearts of Oak in the season opener at the Accra Sports Stadium. They have recorded two wins, one draw, and four defeats in their first seven matches.

Currently sitting in 13th place on the Ghana Premier League table with seven points, Gazale’s side will be eager to regain their momentum in Sunday’s crucial encounter.
