Election 2024: I’m the one Ghana needs

Alan Kyerematen, founder of the Movement for Change, has positioned himself as the leader Ghana needs during this critical period of heightened political tensions between the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

Speaking at a mega walk in Kumasi, Kyerematen asserted that both parties are entangled in internal conflicts and can no longer be trusted to maintain peace or effectively govern the country.

He emphasized that his leadership would bring unity and prevent further discord, making him the best option for Ghanaians at this time.

Kyerematen urged citizens to break the political dominance of the NPP and NDC, promising to reform the 1992 Constitution if elected.

He argued that the current constitution promotes corruption and hampers good governance, calling for significant amendments to create a more accountable system.

He also criticized the Free SHS policy, stating that while the idea is sound, its implementation has been flawed and needs to be reassessed to truly benefit Ghanaians.

“Ghanaians are saying the country has been divided into two. Things that do not require us to be political, we are political about them. The NPP and NDC factions we belong to have internal rifts. Do they think the country belongs to them?

“If the country belongs to them, they should tell me so that I can go and sit down. If we have two people fighting, we need someone to be the referee, right? Know that Alan Kyerematen is the referee for Ghana. Alan is the only person who can bring peace to Ghana.

“In the December polls, if the NDC wins, it will create trouble same as the NPP. The only person who will win and peace will prevail is Alan Kyeremanten. If you give me the mandate, within one year, Ghana will be transformed,” he stated.
