Guru and his running mate
The President-elect of the University of Ghana(UG), Students Representative Council (SRC), Maradona Yeboah Adei has revealed that he was disappointed when he was disqualified from the race.
According to the musician affectionately called Guru NKZ, his decision to contest for the SRC President didn’t trend like when he was disqualified from contesting.
In an interview with Amansan Krakye, he said “It’s true that when I was disqualified from the SRC race I became so disappointed, especially looking at the effort we put into the campaign.
“When I announced my decision to contest for the SRC presidency, it didn’t trend like the way the news was trending when I was disqualified,” he said as MyNewsGh.com monitored.
“That should tell you that success has many fathers but failure is an orphan so in fact I was so disappointed when it came up that I’ve been disqualified.
“However, the issues they used to disqualify me were things that are not part of the criteria and have been removed from the SRC constitution,” he added.
