The Members of Parliament of Ghana return to the House for a sitting today, Wednesday, October 16, 2024.

The House reconvened on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, after weeks of recess at the Dome of the International Conference Centre (ICC) due to ongoing repairs at the main chamber of Parliament.

Wednesday’s sitting, which will also be at the Dome of the ICC, is expected to touch on some of the issues from Tuesday’s sitting.

Some of the issues that remain hanging include the issue of which party forms the Majority Caucus, and which forms the Minority Caucus after four MPs crossed the carpet to contest in the 2024 parliamentary election.

The House is also expected to tackle the issues of illegal small-scale mining, which came up on Tuesday, as well as some critical legislation.
