Titiaka, First Hijab-wearing GMB Queen Visits National Chief Imam- See Heartwarming Photos

Savannah Region’s representative, Nihad Titiaka Oases emerged as winner of the Ghana’s Most Beautiful 2024 edition. The reality show on TV3 showcases Ghana’s rich and diverse cultural practices.

The beauty contest which is held annually gets viewers glued to their TV sets as the beauty queens entertain and educate them.

The grand finale of the prestigious beauty contest was held on Sunday, October 6 at the National Theatre.

Through determination and hard work, Nihad Titiaka Oases became the first hijab-wearing Queen of the contest.

It’s also the first time the crown has been won in the Savannah Region.

Titiaka was awarded with GHC15,000 cash prize in addition to a brand new vehicle, a trip abroad, courtesy Global Winds and Travel tour, TECNO Phantom B2, a hamper and other rewards from sponsors.

After her history-making victory, the newly crowned beauty queen paid a courtesy call to the National Chief Imam in Accra. News of her visit to the powerful clergy was shared by TV3 on its verified Facebook page.

According to TV3, Osmanu Nuhu Sharubutu, the National Chief Imam invited the 2024 GMB Queen after her historic feet during the contest- an invitation she gladly honoured.

The station shared beautiful photos of her visit to the cleric, triggering massive reactions from Ghanaians. Many people flooded the comments section to congratulate her for her victory as well as honouring the invitation.

Nihad Titiaka Oases will wear the enviable crown for the next year. She is expected to embark on programs aimed at helping to solve some challenges in society, especially empowering the poor and marginalized in society.
