In the wake of the recent accident involving Archbishop Salifu Amoako’s son, Rev. Kumchacha, a close friend of the family, has shared some information that has sparked widespread discussion in the country.

During a conversation with Okay FM’s Halifax, Kumchacha disclosed details about the Archbishop’s reaction to the accident, events leading up to it, and the current condition of the Archbishop’s son, who was said to have caused the crash.

Let’s take a look at three key details Kumchacha shared below:

Archbishop Salifu Amoako’s son and friend in critical condition

Kumchacha disclosed that, while much of the attention is on the two women who lost their lives in the car crash, the Archbishop’s son and his friend are currently fighting for their lives in the emergency unit.

He stated, “The Bishop’s son, who was driving, and his friend in the passenger seat are both in critical condition.”

Kumchacha described the emotional toll the accident has taken on Archbishop Salifu Amoako, saying he is devastated and struggling to cope.

“The Bishop is unable to sleep. He is so devastated. His spirit and soul are almost lost,” he explained.

Son ignored instructions not to use the vehicle

According to reports, the Jaguar involved in the accident belonged to the Archbishop’s wife.

Kumchacha disclosed that the car was parked and the keys were given to the maid, with instructions not to hand them over to the son.

Kumchacha said, “The family was at a birthday party for the boy’s older brother, where the car was parked with the keys given to the maid. Our nephew said he was just going to change his shirt and ended up taking the car to pick up his friend, resulting in the accident.”

He added that neither the mother nor the father was aware that the car had been moved until they received news of the accident.
