Elrad Amoako, the youngest son of Pastor Salifu Amoako, who is at the center of the tragic road crash that claimed two lives at East Legon, has come under scrutiny after videos of him went viral on social media.

The 16-year-old boy’s reckless driving and speeding resulted in a horrific crash, leading to the deaths of two victims who were trapped in a car due to the impact.

In response to heavy criticisms from Ghanaians calling for his arrest, an old video featuring Elrad and an unidentified friend speeding on the road, has resurfaced.

The video posted by an account on X, recorded by his friend, shows Elrad changing gears and speeding at an alarming rate.

In the video, his friend jokingly cautioned him to slow down, warning that they could get themselves killed.

The video has led to him being labeled a “serial speeder” on social media, with netizens claiming this is how he typically drives.

Meanwhile, CCTV footage showed how the crash at East Legon on Saturday, October 12, 2024, resulted in the deaths of two women and left three others critically injured.

The footage shared online showed a speeding Jaguar, believed to be driven by Elrad Amoako, approaching a junction when it crashes into another vehicle ahead.

Three others, including the drivers of the Jaguar and an Acura, are reported to have sustained various degrees of injuries and are currently fighting for their lives.
