I’m Bantama Boy There’s Nothing Wontumi Can Do To Me- Owusu Bempah Finally Replies Wontumi

In line with Ghpage report, Rev. Owusu Bempah, the fiery pastor known for his strong opinions and connections to powerful political figures, has boldly addressed Chairman Wontumi’s threats against him. Chairman Wontumi, the Ashanti Regional Party Chairman for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), warned that Rev. Bempah would experience his “smoothness level” if he ever set foot in Kumasi. This threat comes after the pastor alleged that the NPP was involved in his controversial arrest years ago.

In recent weeks, Rev. Owusu Bempah spoke candidly to his congregation about his troubling interactions with law enforcement. He expressed his frustration with President Akufo-Addo for not taking the time to hear his side of the story regarding his arrest.

During his sermon, he claimed that his life had been threatened by orders from the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Dampare. This serious allegation has sparked considerable attention, particularly because of Rev. Bempah’s prominent position within the religious and political landscape in Ghana.

In response to Rev. Bempah’s claims, Chairman Wontumi firmly stated that the NPP had no involvement in the pastor’s arrest. He went further, alleging that Vice President Dr. Bawumia had visited Rev. Bempah for blessings.

After the visit, Rev. Bempah reportedly prophesied that Dr. Bawumia would become the next president of Ghana. However, Rev. Bempah has dismissed Wontumi’s claims, stating that Dr. Bawumia has never visited his home for any kind of blessing or meeting.

Standing firm in his faith and confidence, Rev. Owusu Bempah addressed his congregation again, saying, “I am a Bantama boy, and there’s nothing Wontumi can do to me if I visit Kumasi.” His defiance shows that he is unafraid of the threats and is determined to stand his ground, regardless of the political tension surrounding him.

This exchange between Rev. Owusu Bempah and Chairman Wontumi has captured the attention of the public, raising questions about the relationship between politics and religion in Ghana. As both figures continue to assert their positions, it remains to be seen how this situation will unfold and whether it will have further implications for the NPP and its leadership.

With the stakes high and tensions rising, one thing is clear: Rev. Owusu Bempah is not backing down and will continue to speak out against what he perceives as injustices, regardless of the consequences. The pastor’s boldness resonates with many of his followers, who see him as a powerful voice in a challenging political landscape.
