Gospel musician Empress Gifty has been spotted wiggling her waist and shaking her butt at an event, prompting reactions online.
This comes on the heels of her interview with Serwaa Amihere, who questioned Empress Gifty about her conduct, which is seemingly in contrast with her role as a gospel musician.
In the viral interview, Serwaa highlighted seeing Empress Gifty twerk on social media and asked why a gospel artiste would engage in such behaviour.
In response, Empress Gifty claimed she didn’t recall ever twerking or dancing provocatively online, adding that even if she did, there’s nothing wrong with it.
Weeks later, Empress Gifty has been captured at Dr. Osei Kwame Despite’s mother-in-law’s funeral, where she shook her butt during her stage performance.
Midway through her ministration, she paused her singing to groove to the live band, turning her back to the cameras and wiggling for the audience.
This has drawn criticism from netizens, who have condemned her for what they describe as her constant display of carnality instead of embodying Christian values.
