‘Who born you by mistake?’

GhanaWeb has seen a viral video on social media where Pastor Salifu discusses how he drives in the country without a driver’s license.

In the video, he boasts that no police officer is capable of arresting him, claiming that if an officer attempts to stop him for driving without a license or number plate, the individual risks losing their job.

“In my country, when the police see me, they salute and call me General. Without a driver’s license and a car number plate, I have been driving,” he said.

“Who born you by mistake to stop me? Because if you stop me, I will call your boss,” he told his congregation.

This revelation comes in the wake of a tragic road crash at East Legon, a suburb of Accra, on Saturday, October 12, 2024, which resulted in at least two people being burnt to death.

Reports indicate that one of the vehicles involved in the accident, a white Jaguar, belongs to the wife of Salifu Amoako, a well-known pastor in Ghana.

GhanaWeb cannot confirm at this point that one of the individuals involved in the accident is the son of Pastor Salifu, who allegedly took his mother’s Jaguar to run an errand during a birthday party.
