Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP)
A pastor and development advocate, Alexander King Doku of the Pursuit of God Service, believes that God can use any person regardless of their religion.
Therefore, he sees Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia as the right candidate to be elected as President of Ghana.
During a discussion with students at the Islamic University College about the book “Dr. Bawumia and the Modern Vice Presidency,” Pastor Doku expressed his view that in the 2024 election campaign, Bawumia stands out due to his exceptional character and vision.
According to Pastor Doku, the election should not be about a person’s religion but about their vision for Ghana and the purity of their heart. He firmly believes that Bawumia possesses both a pure heart and a grand vision for the country.
“I have carefully listened to all the candidates, and I am convinced that Bawumia has a clearer vision than any other candidate seeking to lead the country,” Pastor Doku shared with the audience.
He also praised Dr. Bawumia for his impactful role as Vice President, noting that Bawumia has shown that even in a deputy position, one can be highly effective.
“God has the power to use anyone to bring about change in Ghana, and I believe that person is Bawumia. His policies and clear vision for the country, as well as his fluency in the language of globalization, particularly digitization, make him the right choice,” Pastor Doku emphasised.
