With Bawumia, Many Things Are Possible- NDC’s Koku Anyidoho Affirms Upon Arrival Of Electric Buses

Vice President Dr. Alhaji Mahmudu Bawumia who doubles as the flag-bearer for the New Patriotic Party has been in the headline for a while now. This has got to do with his recent campaign tours, certain initiatives he has taken and some he has already launched. Bawumia is focused on merging Ghana into that of the digital world. This initiative has seen a tremendous transformation of Ghana in so many sectors.
Dr. Bawumia introduced the paperless port system where all processes were changed into an all-electronic module, face to face application for passport was changed to an electronic module, introduction of the Ghana Card to propagate digitalization and recently a citizens app which provides citizens with basic domestic services. Not long ago, Dr. Bawumia promised Ghanaians the arrival of electronic buses to help reduced the pressure on fuel. These electronic buses will as well as receive electronic payments contributing to the progress in achieving total digitalization of the economy.

To the surprise of many Ghanaians, the long-awaited electronic buses promised by Dr. Bawumia has hit the shores of the country and are already operating. Some citizens have already had an experience with the bus and have shared it online.
A sudden controversy has sparked online just after former NDC’s general secretary, Samuel Koku Anyidoho shared his remarks on the arrival of the electronic buses. In a post sighted on his official indicated his happiness as the newly electronic buses promised by Dr. Bawumia has arrived and fully operational. “People of Ghana, see Bawumia’s visionary transformational promise vis-a-vis a cashless (to ensure proper revenue management) electric/electronic public transport system that is akin to any existing in developed countries. With Bawumia, many things are Possible. Ghana First”, he shared.
