Ghanaian media figure Captain Smart has made bold accusations, claiming that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) attempted to buy his silence with offers of a ministerial role, a luxury car, and a CEO position.
According to Captain Smart, these incentives were aimed at stopping him from exposing the government’s alleged ties to galamsey, the illegal mining practice that has been a significant issue in Ghana.
