The Vice Presidential Candidate of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh, has dismissed former President John Mahama’s promise to create a new region for the people of Bawku as a blatant falsehood.
Addressing a gathering of key stakeholders, including religious leaders, Zongo Chiefs, teachers, and students in Ashanti Mampong, Dr. Opoku Prempeh described the promise as an attempt to mislead the people of the area.
