The Deputy Director of Protocol and Logistics for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Amanda Okyere, has urged Ghanaian youth to rise and be mindful of their choices at the polls, as these decisions could significantly impact the nation’s future, according to 3news.com.

Commenting on the increased hardships and rising indebtedness in the country, Amanda Okyere stated that the situation is severe and needs a thoughtful plan.

She called on the youth to take charge and be proactive in addressing these challenges.

As part of the NDC’s campaign in parts of the Eastern and Ashanti regions, she stated “As young people, we must be conscious of the actions we will take in the coming days to move our country forward. We must rise and reset Ghana to where it belongs.”

Amanda Okyere further emphasised that the 2024 election is the most critical of our lifetime, urging voters to make wise choices at the polls.

She emphasised that the NDC is attuned to the public’s desire for a truthful and honest leader, asserting that their flagbearer, John Mahama, embodies the qualities of selflessness, dedication, and honesty that Ghana needs for the future.

She called on young people to rise up and show their support for Mahama, encouraging them to place their confidence in the NDC flagbearer.
