Renowned Solar Energy Expert and engineer, Professor Prince Owusu Ansah, has endorsed Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia’s vision for solar energy as a game-changer for Ghana’s energy landscape.

This vision, according to Professor Ansah, will help Ghana reduce its reliance on thermal power and provide a sustainable energy source.

Professor Ansah, Head of the Automobile Department at Kumasi Technical University (KsTU), praised Dr. Bawumia’s pragmatic approach to solving Ghana’s energy problems.

His comments came during a working visit by Deputy Education Minister in Charge of TVET, Professor Kingsley Nyarko, to KsTU on October 4, 2024.

NPP’s Commitment to TVET

Professor Nyarko highlighted the NPP government’s significant investment in Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), totaling over 6 billion cedis. This investment, he said, has enabled retooling, infrastructure provision, and other initiatives to enhance TVET education.

Professor Nyarko reiterated the government’s commitment to improving TVET institutions and providing practical training to students.

He urged the public to support the NPP in the 2024 polls, citing their dedication to Ghana’s development.

“We are committed to improving TVET institutions and providing practical training to students,” Professor Nyarko emphasized. “We urge the public to support the NPP in the 2024 polls as we continue to work towards Ghana’s progress.”
