‘If We Open the Pandora Box, He Cannot Walk Around in Peace’ —NDC MP Sends Strong Warning to Bawumia

In a spirited address at a rally for former President John Dramani Mahama, Ghanaian politician and member of Parliament for the Bolgatanga Central Constituency, Isaac Adongo, delivered a strong warning to Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia.

Representing the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Adongo accused Bawumia of disrespect towards Mahama, a former President who, he claims, significantly contributed to the improvement of Ghanaian lives.

According to a video posted by Metro TV Ghana on X, Adongo highlighted that Bawumia’s dismissive stance towards Mahama has not gone unnoticed.

“If Bawumia starts respecting John Dramani Mahama, we will respect him,” Adongo stated.

He continued by emphasizing Mahama’s status and achievements, remarking, “John Dramani Mahama is a former President of the Republic of Ghana, a very respected former President who improved the lives of Ghanaians. And if the likes of Mahamudu Bawumia could call him an ‘empty ballot,’ we are waiting for him.”

Adongo hinted that the NDC possesses sensitive information about Bawumia, information he referred to as a “dossier.”

“We have the dossier of Bawumia. If we open the Pandora box, he cannot walk around in peace,” he asserted, making it clear that the NDC is prepared to counter any perceived disrespect directed at Mahama.
