In a significant development, the Accra High Court has granted bail to nine Democracy Hub protesters, including 26-year-old lawyer Elorm Ababio, who were arrested for allegedly participating in a demonstration against illegal mining, popularly known as Galamsey.
The nine protesters were granted GHC70,000 bail each with two sureties.
