Shatta Wale Begs Mahama Again- See The Reply From The Former President

Legendary Ghanaian dancehall star Shatta Wale has knelt before former President John Dramani Mahama, seeking forgiveness for his past actions. This is not the first time the musician has sought forgiveness from the leader of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).

His apology comes after he publicly condemned the opposition NDC and Former President John Dramani Mahama. This has led to a sour relationship between himself and some leading members of the party.

In a video which has gone viral on various social media platforms, the popular musician knelt down to ask for forgiveness, promising not to repeat the mistake.

He confessed that he was able to buy his first house through the help of the Former President- a gesture Shatta Wale said he will remain grateful for.

Responding to the apology, John Dramani Mahama called him a son and said he could never hold grudges against him. He promised to speak to other leading members of the party who have refused to pick up Shatta Wale’s call due to his utterances against the NDC.

In a warm response, Mahama told him, “Oh, it’s nothing, you’re my son, and I hold nothing against you.”

Shatta Wale has a large following in the Ghanaian music fraternity. His association with any political party will boost the chances of that particular party, but he has maintained his neutrality.

He has consistently said he is not aligned with any political party, focusing on making good music for his loyal fans.
