With 63 days left until the 2024 general elections, members of various political parties are gearing up to win over voters, especially the undecided ones.

From holding rallies across different regions to promoting their policies, candidates are doing their best to keep their key messages simple and memorable for Ghanaians.

For the New Patriotic Party (NPP) under the leadership of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, the Free SHS policy stands out prominently.

In the upcoming December polls, the party’s flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has been dubbed “Mr. Digital.”

A viral video on social media shows the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the NPP, Bernard Antwi Boasiako, popularly known as Chairman Wontumi, engaging with some persons in their hideout, discussing the policies of their flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.

He mentioned that these ghetto boys could gain admission to any university with their Ghana Card if Dr. Bawumia wins the upcoming general elections.

Wontumi further stated that there would be job opportunities awaiting them once they graduate from the university.

He categorically stated that their take-home pay for the jobs they secure would be GH¢8,000 a month.

“Dr. Bawumia says that if you vote for him to become president, you should take your Ghana Card and attend the university, and upon completion, there will be an immediate job available that pays GH¢8,000 a month,” Chairman Wontumi said.

“I know smokers are loving, thinkers, and show empathy,” the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the NPP added.
