She Cursed Us on Radio – Pastor Sam Recounts Maame Dokono’s Fierce Battle with Men of God In Ghana

In line with the report from Ghanaweb; Rev. Sam Korankye-Ankrah, the Apostle-General of the Royalhouse Chapel International, has shared a touching story involving veteran Ghanaian actress, Grace Omaboe, also known as Maame Dokono.

According to the pastor, Maame Dokono once held a deep-seated resentment toward Ghanaian pastors following the death of her mother, which she believed was connected to a prophecy.

The pastor explained that a charismatic church once gave a prophecy to Maame Dokono’s sister, who had been struggling to conceive a child.

The prophecy claimed that their mother was spiritually preventing her sister from getting pregnant by using her husband’s sperm to hinder the pregnancy.

Shocked by this claim, Maame Dokono’s sister and her husband confronted their mother. The mother, elderly and distressed by the accusation, denied any knowledge of such actions but tragically fell ill shortly after and passed away.

This led Maame Dokono, who was a radio presenter at the time, to become highly critical of pastors, condemning them on air regularly.

“She vowed to never forgive us pastors, constantly lambasting us on the radio,” Rev. Korankye-Ankrah told his congregation during a sermon. “Many of us were afraid of her because she had a huge platform and was relentless.”

However, the narrative changed when Maame Dokono’s daughter experienced a pregnancy that lasted 12 months without delivery.

Desperate, she sought Rev. Korankye-Ankrah’s help, despite her previous negative stance towards pastors.

The pastor initially hesitated but agreed to meet her. He recounted how he prayed over her daughter, who had been cursed by a housemaid sent to prevent the safe delivery.

After the prayers, Maame Dokono’s daughter successfully gave birth, and Maame Dokono, in gratitude, became a member of his church.
