The Founder of Glorious Word Power Ministry International, Rev. Isaac Owusu-Bempah, has cautioned some personalities in the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to be wary of their criticisms against him.

The prophet stated that his prophecy about the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama, being the winner of the 2024 general elections was disclosed to him by God and not a mere projection.

He called on the Deputy Communications Director of the NPP, Ernest Owusu-Bempah; Bono Regional Chairman of the party, Kwame Baffoe, also known as Abronye DC; and others who are lambasting him since the prophecy was made, to cease the attacks or else face his wrath.

Speaking in an interview with Okay FM, the host, Kwame Nkrumah Tikese, asked, “Abronye DC has said that anyone who claims NDC will win the elections should bring a car so that they can bet. Ernest Owusu-Bempah also said if NPP loses the elections, God will cease to be who He is.”

Rev. Owusu-Bempah responded, “Tell Abronye that elections have concluded and the NPP lost, so he should forget about his car. I don’t even believe he has more than five cars. They should not provoke me; if they do, they will see.

“Tell Ernest Owusu-Bempah to shut up. I don’t have any issue with him. I spoke based on what I had seen. If he is a prophet, I will let him know that he is nowhere near me spiritually. Is God solely for the NPP?”

This statement follows Prophet Owusu-Bempah laying hands on Mahama and praying for him during the NDC’s meeting with the clergy on October 1, 2024.

During the prayer, the prophet claimed that due to Mahama’s kind heart, God would favour him and grant his wish to become president for a second term.

The prophecy sparked mixed reactions on social media, with some netizens questioning why Owusu-Bempah, who is known to be affiliated with the New Patriotic Party (NPP), would make such a statement.
