The fertilizer company which was celebrating its five years anniversary on 26th September 2024, a day before the prestigious award event organized by the Ghana National Chamber of Commerce and Industry, won the ‘Agribusiness Of The Year’ while the CEO of the company, Mr Robert Ayittey was adjudged the ‘Young Entrepreneur Of The Year’.
The General Manager of the company, Mr Alex Kwame Donyinah in his speech said, ‘’We will like to express our profound appreciation for this remarkable recognition of our humble contributions in support of Ghana’s Agricultural sector, creating employment opportunities, safeguarding livelihoods, strengthening the economy, and contributing to the achievement of the SDG’s – especially, goal 2’’
The company has accomplished a lot through the hard work of its current 16-member permanent staff – and the over 80 causal workers associated with the Team.

In the last 5 years, BH – Fertagro has remarkably deployed over 100,000 mt of different fertilizer formulations onto the market – as a major impetus for strengthening climate-smart agricultural practices across Ghana and beyond.
As part of its corporate social responsibilities, BH Fertagro Ghana Ltd. in 2024, donated over GHC90,000 worth of fertilizers and other assorted items to the Nsawam Prison Complex to support farming and inmate maintenance efforts.
During the 2023 Akosombo dam spillage, BH Fertagro Ghana Ltd. also presented over GH₵100,000 worth of relief items to the people of Mepe, Bator, Sogakope and its environs.
