The Juantuahene of the Wassa-Amenfi Traditional Area
The Juantuahene of the Wassa-Amenfi Traditional Area has predicted a win for the New Patriotic Party(NPP) in the pending elections.
According to him, Flagbearer of the NPP, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia will garner 53 percent of the total votes cast to emerge as the next president of Ghana.
This was shared on X by a user named, Edhub on Monday, September 30, 2024, stating “The Juantuahene of the Wassa-Amenfi Traditional Area has declared Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia the winner of the upcoming elections, predicting he will receive 53% of the votes”
He further appealed to Dr Bawumia to address the illegal mining activities that has plagued the country and also fix deplorable roads in the community.
The Juantuahene pleaded with Dr Bawumia not to tackle the ongoing issues of galamsey, despite the traditional area being one of the hotspots for the illegal activity in the country”
