Baatsona Assemblyman donates sewing machines to Abrantie College

The Assemblyman of the Baatsona Electoral Area in Spintex, Hon. Jeremiah Borketey Bortey, has donated hand-sewing machines to students at Abrantie College.

In all, Hon. Bortey donated 10 sewing machines as part of his efforts to give back to society.

His kind gesture seeks to help a number of students at Abrantie College – Ghana’s premier fashion, cosmetology and catering institute – with their vocational training.

Donating at the College recently during Abrantie College’s matriculation, Hon. Bortey expressed the belief that students in Ghanaian society need the support of everyone to advance their education or training.

Receiving the donated sewing machines on behalf of the school, the Director of Abrantie College, Mr King David Thompson, thanked Hon.

Bortey for his benevolence, said the College which is located within the Baatsona Electoral Area shall continue to provide “the best of education to students that come to the school so the Baatsona Electoral area can improve”.
