Our sales went up after participating in 2023 Citi Business Olympics

Unicom Chemist, one of Ghana’s leading pharmaceutical companies, has reported a significant rise in sales following their participation in the 2023 Citi Business Olympics.

The company attributes this growth to its involvement in the event, which positively impacted its business operations and brand visibility.

Looking ahead, Unicom Chemist is preparing to compete in this year’s Citi Business Olympics with even greater enthusiasm and determination.

Dr. Andrew Sarpong Mensah, a company representative, expressed their excitement during an interview on the Citi Breakfast Show, stating that the competition not only enhanced their brand’s visibility but also contributed to the company’s sales growth.

“With this year’s edition, we’re expecting to win all the trophies. We are ready. Last year, we just announced our presence by taking off the defending champions, GCB (Ghana Commercial Bank) in the football. We didn’t win but we took them out. So, they should get ready again. The Volley we beat them and took the cup. They should expect more from us this year,” he stated.

He continued: “Last year, we announced our presence by associating with Citi Business and we realised that our sales went up significantly and we don’t want to keep the good news to ourselves.”

In addition to competing, Unicom Chemist will be offering free health screenings at this year’s event.

The first 50 participants will receive blood glucose tests, along with souvenirs, as part of the company’s contribution to promoting health awareness.

“So, we are here to share the good news for people to know. Tomorrow, we will be having screen screening for the first 50 people for blood glucose and they will also get souvenirs,” he stated.
