The National Democratic Congress Parliamentary candidate for Amenfi Central in the Western Region, Joana Cudjoe Gyan has presented GH¢20,000 to each Women organiser of the 17 Constituencies of the Western Region, totalling GH¢340,000.00.
Mrs Cudjoe, who is also the Western Regional patron of the women’s working committee, also donated GH¢100,000 to the Regional Women’s Organizer and GH¢30,000 to each of her two deputies, totalling GH¢60,000.
The total contribution of GH¢500,000 is aimed at empowering women to mobilise support for the party in the upcoming December 7, 2024, elections.
Presenting the funds, Joana Gyan Cudjoe emphasised the crucial role women play in the party’s organization and urged unity among party supporters.
She called on everyone to work towards a common goal, ensuring victory for the John Dramani Mahama and Jane Naana Opoku Agyeman ticket, as well as all 17 NDC Parliamentary Candidates in the Western Region.
