Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia
The Flagbearer of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, is set to host a media engagement on Sunday, August 25, 2024.
This comes on the heels of the successful launch of the party’s 2024 manifesto in Takoradi in the Western Region.
According to a statement from the party, Dr. Bawumia is committed to ensuring that Ghanaians have a comprehensive understanding of the party’s vision and leadership ahead of the December 2024 polls.
“Dr. Bawumia is strongly convinced, the Ghanaian people deserve to have a complete view and proper understanding of the vision of their leaders before the 2024 December polls, and the manifesto properly sets the context for the conversation,” the statement said.
Signed by Dennis Miracles Aboagye, Director of Communications for the Campaign Team, the statement further indicated that the media engagement is part of a series of activities aimed at disseminating the manifesto’s content to a wider audience.
“This very important media engagement is part of a series of activities lined up by Dr. Bawumia to deepen the dissemination of the 2024 Manifesto,” it stressed.
It urged media houses interested in attending the engagement to send an email to [email protected] by close of business on Thursday, August 22, 2024.
The event is expected to provide a platform for Dr. Bawumia to share his vision and answer questions from the media, deepening the public’s understanding of the NPP’s plans for Ghana’s future.
