He said, “This is our fourth time of participating in the Literacy Challenge. We always get to the top ten but unfortunately, we don’t win. This year we are not accepting that, and I know Lillian will make us proud and bring the trophy home.”

Francesca Coffie, Lillian’s mother who was lost for words added, “I don’t know what to say. I am really happy for her [Lillian]. She has been working so hard for this. I believe in her and I know what she can do.”

Students at Silicon Valley International School who were inspired by Lillian’s achievement asserted their preparation of participating in next year’s Challenge.

One of these students is Kevyn Ohene Agyepong, stated “I participated this year but did not make it to the top 50 and 10. Next year I will apply again. And I know I will go far. I am happy for Lillian for representing the school in the finals.”

Lillian Narkeasha Amoako however extended appreciation to all who supported her to reach this feat.

The grand finale, scheduled for Saturday, August 17, 2024, will see these top ten contestants compete in a quiz competition, with the winner taking home GH¢10,000, a trophy, and bragging rights.
