Former Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan has apologised to Fadda Dickson, Managing Director of Despite Media Group, on behalf of comedian Funny Face.
Gyan explained that a past controversy between Funny Face and Fadda Dickson had strained their relationship.
He urged Fadda Dickson to forgive the comedian and restore their relationship. He assured that if Fadda Dickson accepts his plea, he will ensure Funny Face personally apologizes on the Despite Media platform.
“I would like to extend my regards to Fadda Dickson and the entire Despite Media Group. There’s a saying that if your child defecates on your lap, you don’t cut it off, but clean it. So, I want to apologize to Fadda Dickson on behalf of my brother [Funny Face] for their past disagreements.
“If you consider the situation, it wasn’t his fault. I plead that you allow my brother to come back and resolve the issues,” Gyan told Dan Kwaku Yeboah during an interview on Peace FM.
Funny Face’s previous comments about Despite Media Group damaged his relationship with Fadda Dickson.
As a result, Funny Face is rarely seen on Despite Media platforms, although no official ban has been announced.
