Celebrities shouldn’t endorse political parties – Joe Fraizer –

While celebrity endorsements of political campaigns and presidential candidates have become increasingly common in this political era, veteran musician Joe Frazier is opposed to this practice.

Frazier believes that celebrities should maintain neutrality during election periods and avoid publicly aligning with any political party.

He explained, “As an artiste or public figure, maintaining neutrality is important. Even when we vote, it’s done in private to preserve our confidentiality.”

He continued, “I don’t support the idea of artistes or public figures endorsing a specific political party from a campaign platform. For me, creating music for one political party is not appropriate, though individual preferences may vary.”

According to Frazier, the role of public figures should be to remain impartial and represent the interests of all their fans, regardless of political affiliation.

“Standing on a campaign platform is not the best approach,” he emphasized in his discussion with Amansan Krakye.
