In response to the recent attack on the Ayawaso West Wuogon office of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), the Ghana Police Service has activated a manhunt to capture the group of individuals behind the destruction.
The incident, which occurred on Sunday, July 7, 2024, resulted in extensive damage to the office premises, including two vehicles.
The Police reassured that the perpetrators will face the full force of the law. They have pledged to diligently pursue the investigation to ensure that those responsible for the violent act are brought to justice.
The police have urged anyone with information relevant to the case to come forward and assist in the ongoing investigation.
The official statement from the Ghana Police Service, on Twitter now X, read: “We would like to assure the public that the perpetrators will be arrested to face justice.”
Another post on Instagram indicated that an unnamed suspect has been arrested.
