Gospel music fans who gathered at the iconic Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday, June 30 for Joe Mettle’s Praise Reloaded mega concert had a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
The concert, themed “The Holy Spirit Encounter,” shattered expectations, becoming a resounding success.
This year, Joe Mettle Ministries flung open the doors, freeing the event. The gamble paid off spectacularly.
The stadium, with a capacity of 40,000, pulsed with the energy of a spirited crowd, eager to raise their voices in praise.
The night was a star-studded affair. Gospel heavyweights like MOG, Ohemaa Mercy, Pastor Isaiah, and Nathaniel Bassey shared the stage with rising talents like Sunmisola Agbebi and Team Eternity Ghana.
Each minister brought their unique fire, setting the atmosphere ablaze with the spirit of worship.
As soon as Joe Mettle took the stage, the entire stadium erupted into cheers. He performed his popular hits, including the crowd-favourite “Bonooni,” prompting a massive sing-along that filled the stadium with sound.
The night wasn’t short on dignitaries either. Respected figures like Bishop Nicholas Duncan Williams and NDC’s Sam George added a touch of weight to the momentous occasion.
