Details of encounters between suspended NDC PC and Constituency Secretary’s wife emerge –

Details have emerged of the scandalous affair involving the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliamentary Candidate for Assin Central, Nurein Shaibu Migyimah, and the wife of the party’s Constituency Secretary, sparking widespread outrage within the party.

Earlier reports suggested that the illicit relationship between Migyimah and the Secretary’s wife resulted in pregnancy and her subsequent relocation, severely damaging Migyimah’s reputation and leading to his suspension from the party.

After Nurein Shaibu Migyimah was said to have impregnated the party’s Constituency Secretary’s wife, he was said to have relocated her to Kasoa where he provided accommodation for her.

These allegations, supported by evidence, have thrown the NDC Central Regional Secretariat into turmoil as it deals with the aftermath of the incident.

However, further investigation into the matter has uncovered shocking revelations, including secret meetings between Migyimah and the Secretary’s wife at their matrimonial home in his absence, engaging in inappropriate activities.

The NDC’s Central Regional Organizer, Michael M. Derry, who made this known in an interview with Onua FM/TV, said suspicions of infidelity led the Secretary to install cameras in their residence, capturing multiple intimate encounters between Migyimah and his wife.

Previously suspended for six months pending a formal hearing by the Regional Disciplinary Committee, Migyimah faced charges of “immoral acts and anti-party conduct,” resulting in his imminent removal as the 2024 Assin Central Parliamentary Candidate by the NDC Central Regional Functional Executive Committee.

In a recent development, the party has escalated sanctions against Migyimah, with Mr. Gabriel Nii Kommey Adams, Regional Secretary of the NDC, confirming the decision to revoke Migyimah’s candidacy following consultations with national party leadership and key stakeholders.

Meanwhile, Nurein Shaibu Migyimah, the candidate for Assin Central Constituency, has described recent events as a ‘nightmare,’ expressing confidence in his imminent vindication.

In a previous interview with JoyNews, he stated, “I have not received any formal communication yet, but I am taking steps within the party’s framework to ensure a fair hearing regarding the ongoing situation. This is a political party, and we operate under our party’s constitution. I am young and determined to navigate through this.

“I believe, and I know whatever allegation, anything they’ve said or whatever it is, after I go through the right party structures, I’ll be vindicated. God being so good, God willing, ‘Inshallah’, on December 7, I’m going to win the election,” he added.
