‘Here to stay’ – Defender Jerome Opoku declares after signing for Istanbul Başakşehir –

Ghana international Jerome Opoku has expressed his commitment after finalizing his permanent transfer to the Turkish club, Istanbul Başakşehir.

According to the official statement from the club, the Black Stars defender has signed a three-year contract with an option for an additional year, contingent on his performance.

“The club has signed a three-year contract with our player, Jerome Opoku, whom we initially acquired on loan from the Portuguese club Arouca at the start of the 2023-2024 season, with an option to buy.

“We wish Jerome Opoku success as he continues his career as a valuable member of the Başakşehir family,” announced the Turkish club on Wednesday, June 26.

In response to finalizing the move, Jerome Opoku from Ghana shared his excitement with a resolute statement: “Here to stay.”
