‘There is no genuine clergyman in Ghana, no healer’ – Obofour –

Leader of Anointed Palace Chapel (APC) worldwide Rev. Kwaku Agyei Antwi, widely known as Rev. Obofour has urged Christians to be wary of putting their trust in clergymen. He asserts that most clergy have significant flaws, pointing out that some pastors engage in behaviors such as adultery, which leads to divorce, and others partake in fornication, including having sexual affairs with multiple women simultaneously.

Rev. Obofour argues that these shortcomings reflect a lack of genuine men of God in Ghana, urging people to place their faith in God rather than in pastors. He emphasizes that true focus should be on Christ, who suffered for humanity, rather than on the fallible statements of clergymen. He highlights various misconducts by pastors, including adultery, financial fraud, tax evasion, and using unscrupulous means to acquire property. He underscores that church attendance should be about seeking God, not following a pastor.

In a video shared by Zionfelix on Instagram, Rev. Obofour remarked, “There are no genuine men of God in this country. No pastor is a healer. I would never attack the church, but your focus should be on Jesus, not on what clergymen say. The person deemed genuine has committed adultery and faced divorce. The Bible states if you can’t manage your home, you can’t manage the house of God. While not calling them fake, they have failed.”

“Some pastors defraud people for money, claim to be genuine while engaging in threesomes, evade duties on imported goods, and employ land guards for dubious land acquisitions. Therefore, our attendance at church should be to follow God, not the pastors,” he concluded.
