Lüc Carl
Before breaking into the music scene with “Just Dance” in 2008, Gaga dated bar owner, nightclub promoter, and author Lüc Carl on and off from 2005 to 2011.
In an interview with Rolling Stone in 2009, Gaga said that she “really never loved anyone like I loved him. Or like I love him.”
“That relationship really shaped me,” Gaga continued. “I sort of resolved that if you can’t have the guy of your dreams, there are other ways to give love.”

Matthew “Dada” Williams
While on a break from Lüc, Gaga dated designer Matthew “Dada” Williams in 2008. He even served as the creative director for her Haus of Gaga from 2008 to 2010.
“Dada is quite brilliant and we were crazy lovers, but I stopped it when we discovered what a strong creative connection we had,” Gaga said in an interview with Evening Standard in 2010. “I didn’t want it just to be about careless love.”

Taylor Kinney
Gaga started dating Chicago Fire actor Taylor Kinney in July 2011 after meeting on set of her “Yoü and I” music video.
After dating for almost four years, Taylor proposed on Valentine’s Day in 2015 with a heart-shaped diamond ring.
In July 2016, Gaga announced that she and Taylor were taking a break.
“Taylor and I have always believed we are soulmates. Just like all couples we have ups and downs, and we have been taking a break,” Gaga wrote on Instagram. “We are both ambitious artists, hoping to work through long-distance and complicated schedules to continue the simple love we have always shared. Please root us on. We’re just like everybody else and we really love each other.”
However, the two never reconciled.

Christian Carino
In January 2017, Gaga and talent agent Christian Carino sparked dating rumors when they attended a Kings of Leon concert together. A few weeks, Christian supported Gaga at the Super Bowl where she headlined the Halftime Show.
The couple reportedly got engaged in November 2017, but she didn’t confirm the news until October 2018 and started openly wearing her pink sapphire and diamond engagement ring.
After lots of speculation, it was confirmed in February 2019 that Gaga and Christian had ended their engagement and broke up.

Dan Horton
In July 2019, Gaga and audio engineer Dan Horton sparked dating rumors when they were spotted kissing during a brunch date in Studio City.
After a few months of dating, Gaga confirmed in October 2019 that she was a “single lady.”

Michael Polansky
Gaga and tech investor Michael Polansky confirmed that they were a couple in February 2020 after a few weeks of dating rumors. However, they have largely kept their relationship out of the public eye.
Back in November 2021, she made some rare comments about him and in March 2024, the two were spotted stepping out together in Santa Monica to celebrate her 38th birthday.
