Actress and entrepreneur Salma Mumin has said that she is no longer a slay queen.
She says she left that league after the meaning of the word changed from a woman who looks good to a young runs girl.
Salama Mumin believes that she engaged in legitimate businesses that fetch her money to support her lifestyle and therefore should not be in the league of “Slay Queens”.
“I like good life, when slay queen started it was people who could dress but all of a sudden I heard the meaning had changed so I had to refrain from it. I’m not a runs girl. All my life I’ve worked but people see me work and still decide not to believe that my work can help me look good this way,” she said.
“I’m stating for a fact that my food and clothing business funded my lifestyle,” she added.
