Come out and speak if you’ve paid me to do an agenda – Okatakyie Afrifa-Mensah dares NPP, NDC politicians –

Okatakyie Afrifa-Mensah, a journalist with Angel FM/TV, has boldly challenged any Ghanaian politician to come forward and prove that he has been paid to pursue an agenda that undermines any political party in the country.

In a recent statement, Afrifa-Mensah declared, “If anyone has given me any money, it is Julius Deborah. He gave me money to work as a media person. I’ve never taken his money for an agenda. If there is any politician who says I’ve come for his or her money to engage in an agenda, he or she should come out.”

He went on to recount an interaction with a member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) who advised him to choose a side while driving, either left or right, to avoid causing an accident. Afrifa-Mensah interpreted this as a metaphor for joining either the NDC or the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

Afrifa-Mensah explained that he ultimately aligned with the NPP but maintained his independence by criticizing the party when necessary. He emphasized that his actions and opinions are not driven by financial incentives but by his commitment to truthful and unbiased journalism.

Afrifa-Mensah’s remarks highlight the importance of journalistic integrity and the need for journalists to remain impartial in their reporting, regardless of any external pressures or influences.
