NDC optimistic of wider acceptance of 24hr economy proposal

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) is optimistic about the wider acceptance of the 24-hour Economy proposal among the residents of the Ashanti Region.

The party is planning a sensitization walk in Kumasi tomorrow, Wednesday, to promote this initiative.

Former President John Dramani Mahama, along with other prominent NDC members, will spearhead the sensitization walk.

This event was initially postponed due to the District Level Elections (DLEs) that took place last year.

Dr. Frank Amoakohene, the Ashanti Regional Secretary of the NDC, said the party intends to focus on the youth and business owners during the sensitization campaign, aiming to enhance their understanding of the policy proposal.

He was speaking in an interview with Citi News on Tuesday ahead of the walk on Wednesday, January 24, 2024.
