John Dumelo recently confronted Webkid Afrika, a media outlet that compared his marriage to that of award-winning dancehall artiste Stonebwoy.
on Twitter insinuated that Dumelo made a better choice in his wife compared to Stonebwoy, who allegedly made a less desirable choice by marrying an IG model.
Dumelo, who married a lawyer to match his own status, made derogatory remarks about Stonebwoy and immediately requested the blogger remove the post. targeted Stonebwoy without any provocation, prompting Dumelo to ask the media outlet to take it down.
Webkid made the semeing bad remarks on Twitter saying:
“John Dumelo who’s an NDC married a Lawyer but stonebwoy who’s an NPP chose to marry an IG model Becareful who you’ll Idolise, Gerrit !”

Shatta Michy and Stonebwoy’s wife: Have they been compared before?
This type of unhealthy social media conversation has frequently circulated. In 2017, prior to Stonebwoy’s marriage to his wife, who was then known by her maiden name, Dr. Louisa Kwakye Ansong, people often compared her to Michy, who was Shatta Wale’s girlfriend at the time, due to the rivalry between the two musicians.
Numerous social media users shared side-by-side pictures of Dr. Louisa Kwakye Ansong and Diamond Michelle Gbagonah, labeling the former as decent and the latter as indecent.
Others also compared their professions, stating that Stonebwoy’s fiancée was a medical doctor while Shatta Wale’s wife was merely a bar owner in a metallic “container” pub. Another aspect of the comparison was the fact that Dr. Louisa Kwakye Ansong was going to be Stonebwoy’s wife while Shatta Michy was still Shatta Wale’s ‘baby mama’.
