The Chief Executive Officer of Mikesh Academy, Nii Klɔtia Ayikwei Tutu Alamŋlɛ has reaffirmed his commitment to empowering Ghanaian youth through the provision of training in cosmetology.
Speaking at the 7th graduation ceremony of some 52 trainees, Nii Klɔtia Ayikwei Tutu Alamŋlɛ who doubles as the Tabora Mantsɛ emphasized his unwavering commitment to supporting the training youth to reduce unemployment, adding, ‘ this is the rationale behind me providing specialized training, fostering creativity, and nurturing talent within the haircare and cosmetology industry.
“ I started my salon by working on clients then I realized that people wanted to use it as a profession and that was when I established the academy. From there I am also trying to open a clinic so that people can come to diagnose their hair, identify the problems so that they can be solved” he added.
Nii Klɔtia Ayikwei Tutu Alamŋlɛ further noted that the passion for empowering individuals through cosmetology is evident in the vision behind the academy’s commitment to excellence, adding that dreadlocks and natural hair now serve as a means of employment for people.

The ceremony showcased the achievements of budding cosmetologists and haircare specialists who successfully completed their training under the guidance of Mekesh Academy.
The graduates showcased their proficiency in diverse hair care techniques, embracing the artistry of dreadlocks and mastering natural hair care with finesse. Their dedication and expertise demonstrated during the ceremony reflected the comprehensive training and mentorship provided by Mikesh Academy.
He further disclosed that the only requirement needed to take part in the training is the minimum age of fifteen.
The event not only celebrated the accomplishments of the graduates but also highlighted the growing appreciation for natural hair care and cosmetology in Ghana.
One of the graduates, speaking with enthusiasm and gratitude, expressed appreciation for the academy’s guidance and emphasized the transformative impact of the training on their skill set and confidence.
