Chief Imam, former players, East Legon big men spotted at colourful event

The former midfielder of Black Stars, Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu, got married in a traditional ceremony that was attended by prominent Ghanaians, including the Chief Imam and former players of the senior national team, Black Stars.

Agyemang-Badu had posted pre-wedding pictures online before the ceremony, which attracted attention a couple of days ago.

The entire spectacle of the extravagant wedding, which included the respected Chief Imam Osman Nuhu Sharubutu, was filmed on camera and uploaded by Ghanaian blogger GH Kwaku. The Muslim leader made it a point to bless the former Verona and Udinese star with his presence, even though he looked fragile due to old age.

Agyemang-Badu arrived for the ceremony with friends and family, who excitedly sang and danced while wearing colourful kente fabric. He emphasized his Ghanaian background with beautiful jewellery on his wrists, arms, and neck, as well as shining native sandals that matched his outfit.

In addition to adding a bit of flair to the occasion, bright cars made a stunning arrival, made by members of the East Legon Young Executive Men’s Fitness Club dressed traditionally.

In addition to supporting their friend, Agyemang-Badu’s former Black Stars teammates Kwadwo Asamoah and Jerry Akaminko were present to celebrate this new chapter in his life as he gets ready to wed former banker and businesswoman Reggietta Affua Arthur.
