Odakky Andy, a musician and first runner-up of Tv3 Mentor Season 1, has given a hint of what he is up to as far as his career is concerned in the studios of Kumasi-based Nhyira Fm.
According to Odakky Andy in an interview with DJ Ogidi Brown, he is now into barbering to cushion his music career as the support system is low for Ghanaian musicians.
He made it emphatic that he nearly quit music largely in the name of financial constraints, but gracefully to God, the income from barbering is helping him sail through in recent times.
He, therefore, advised up-and-coming artistes to get side gigs to support them as they journey through their music careers.
On records, Odakky Andy conquered 750 contestants during the Kumasi auditions of Tv3 Mentor Season 1 and was brought to Accra to represent Kumasi in the main event where he came out second after weeks of mind-blowing performances.
Andy shot to fame after the Tv3 Mentor Season 1 competition with his super jammable ‘Sweetie’ tune which according to him, was even recorded about 6years long before the Tv3 Mentor Season 1.
