Being a gospel artiste doesn’t limit you from doing other things — Diana Hopeson

Former President of the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA), Diana Akiwumi Hopeson, has advised gospel musicians not to limit themselves to just gospel music.

Speaking at the press launch of ‘Diamond OFFERING Live Worship Experience’ — a gospel musical concert slated for September 24th at Kasoa, Diana Hopeson said that gospel musicians have the talent and the platform to do other things, such as acting, modelling, and business.

“I encourage all gospel musicians who have met the Lord to know that doing gospel music does not limit you in any way this is because a man’s gift will make room for him before kings. All you need to do is give your all and keep working hard,” she advised.

The ‘Diamond Offering Live Worship Experience’ is an annual gospel musical concert organised by award-winning gospel musician Seth Diamond.

This year’s event will feature a star-studded lineup of popular Ghanaian gospel musicians, including Joe Mettle, Selina Boateng, Empress Gifty, and Daughters of Glorious Jesus.

Diana Hopeson, known for her hit song ”Agyenkwa Hene” served as the president of the Musicians Union of Ghana for four years after her predecessor, Alhaji Sidiku Buari.

She left MUSIGA to be trained in Events Management for three months in Hawaii.
