Real reason why Black Sherif was arrested revealed

News came in that sensational artist Black Sherif was arrested at the Kotoka International Airport in the late hours of yesterday.

According to the source, the artist was picked up by Ghana Police upon his arrival at the Kotoka International Airport on Wednesday evening, July 19, 2023.

Reports from Nkonkonsa have revealed that the “Soja” hitmaker’s arrest was caused by a cruise ship company for allegedly taking money and contracts to perform at a cruise ship event but he refused to fulfill his part of the agreement.

The management of Mohammed Sherrif (Black Sherrif) has been contracted by Cruise People Limited (Your Cruise People) for the artist’s performance at the second iteration of its musical cruise on board a cruise ship titled Afro Cruise Jam on August 19, 2023, in Greece.

Gramps Morgan of Morgan Heritage, a Grammy Award winner, and Abrantie Amakye Dede and his Apollo High-Kings performed at the inaugural event, which took place the previous year.

Cruise People Ltd. paid the artist a fee of forty thousand dollars ($40,000). It was further agreed that an initial payment of twenty thousand dollars ($20,000) would be made to the artist to solidify the agreement and that in return, he would record a video confirming his participation and availability for the specified show on the cruise ship at the predetermined time.

The company carried out the agreed-upon rapid bank transfer of the initial deposit to the artist’s London account, and the latter confirmed receipt of payment. Following several emails between the company and the artist, Cruise People Ltd. reminded him that they needed a video of him confirming his appearance on the cruise ship on the dates specified.

The company also informed him that they had scheduled a media event with Multimedia Group for Friday, May 19, 2023 at 3pm. The video clip announcing his performance and availability for the event on the cruise ship will be broadcast. But Blacko allegedly refused to carry out his obligation under the agreement.
