The Institute of Chartered Economists-Ghana (ICEG) has inducted Tsonam Cleanse Akpeloo as a fellow in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the field of economics, technology and industry.
The induction ceremony, which took place at the ICEG headquarters in Accra, was attended by renowned personalities in industry as well as members of the Institute.
Commenting on the recognition, Mr. Akpeloo, who is the Accra Region Chairman of the Association of Ghana Industries (AGI), expressed his appreciation to the leadership of ICEG.
He signaled that the recognition is an inspiration to him to continue to work for the growth the economic landscape of Ghana.
He is determined to “do everything possible to help make the economy of Ghana stable, strong and supportive for businesses in Ghana”.
Currently the Chief Executive of Suku Technologies, Mr. Akpeloo has contributed to the development of Ghana and Africa in very significant ways.
He is the national chairman of the ICT sector of the Ghana National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GNCCI).
He has also previously served as Chairman of the Economic Community for West-African States ECOWAS E-Commerce Council and the Technical Review Committee in Abuja, Nigeria.
In the field of education, he serves on the governing councils of Methodist University Ghana and Accra Technical University.
The ICEG fellowship is a highly esteemed recognition that is reserved for individuals who have demonstrated exceptional knowledge, skill, and dedication in the field of economics.
Mr. Akpeloo’s induction into the Institute is a testament to his contributions and achievements in the economic sector.
