Ghanaian rapper Flowking Stone has said that he sacrificed his career to promote the music industry in Kumasi.
According to him, he sacrificed his life and career for the upcoming artists in Kumasi to know that they can make it wherever they are and he’s proud of what he did looking at some artists.
In an interview with Andy Dosty, he said he is a pillar for the success of musicians based in Kumasi and could have relocated to Accra but rejected it to prove a point.
On records, Flowking Stone is a Ghanaian rapper and songwriter. On August 13, 1983, he was born Kwaku Nsiah-Boamah in Kumasi, Ghana.
He is half of the hip-hop duo Bradez, which he co-founded with his younger brother, Kunta Kinte.
Flowking Stone launched his solo career with the release of his debut album, “Gifted,” in 2013.
The album was well-received, and it earned him a number of nominations and awards, including Best Rapper of the Year at the Ghana Awards in 2016.
Flowking Stone’s fast-paced rapping style, ability to switch between English and Twi (a Ghanaian language), and socially conscious lyrics have earned him acclaim.
